John L. Baldwin MD, FACR
Dr. Baldwin has been practicing Rheumatology in Bellevue, Washington for more than
25 years. In addition to his private practice near Overlake Hospital he is on the
clinical faculty at the University of Washington and its affiliated hospitals. He
was born and raised in Nebraska and received his degree in Pharmacy from the University
of Nebraska, Lincoln and then his medical degree from the University of Nebraska
College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wilford
Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Texas and then did a Fellowship in Rheumatology
at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Baldwin believes that the care of Rheumatology patients frequently involves the integration of many services in the medical community. The Overlake medical community has world class medical and surgical specialist and one of the regions premier medical centers. These resources compliment the comprehensive Rheumatologic services offered by the Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center. The Center is dedicated to friendly professional services in a comfortable and easily accessible environment.
Dr. Baldwin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was also recognized by Seattle Magazine as one of Seattle's Top Doctors. He is a retired Brigadier General having served for 34 years in the Air Force Reserve medical corp. Dr. Baldwin lives in Bellevue with his wife Janis. They have two grown children. He enjoys outdoor recreation and travel.
