Mission Statement
Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center is a free standing full service medical center, with a staff of full time Board Certified Rheumatologists based in Bellevue, Washington.
Our mission is to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of medical services with state of the art, professional and personalized care to our patients with arthritis, autoimmune diseases, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.
Our facility provides laboratory services, bone density screening, x-rays, complex medical imaging and infusion services on site. The center is dedicated to providing friendly professional services in a comfortable and easily accessible environment.
At Overlake arthritis and osteoporosis center our patients enjoy personalized one on one attention with their physician rheumatologist. We ensure continuity of care by working closely with other physicians and specialists to coordinate care of our patients with complex rheumatologic conditions.
We strive to involve our patients in all aspects of their care, ensuring that they understand each step of the process. By encouraging and nurturing our patients to be partners in their own health care, we ensure that our patients, are entirely comfortable during their consultation and leave our office satisfied at all times.
Physicians
John L. Baldwin MD, FACR
Dr. Baldwin has been practicing Rheumatology in Bellevue, Washington for more than
25 years. In addition to his private practice near Overlake Hospital he is on the
clinical faculty at the University of Washington and its affiliated hospitals. He
was born and raised in Nebraska and received his degree in Pharmacy from the University
of Nebraska, Lincoln and then his medical degree from the University of Nebraska
College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wilford
Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Texas and then did a Fellowship in Rheumatology
at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Baldwin believes that the care of Rheumatology patients frequently involves the integration of many services in the medical community. The Overlake medical community has world class medical and surgical specialist and one of the regions premier medical centers. These resources compliment the comprehensive Rheumatologic services offered by the Overlake Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center. The Center is dedicated to friendly professional services in a comfortable and easily accessible environment.
Dr. Baldwin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was also recognized by Seattle Magazine as one of Seattle's Top Doctors. He is a retired Brigadier General having served for 34 years in the Air Force Reserve medical corp. Dr. Baldwin lives in Bellevue with his wife Janis. They have two grown children. He enjoys outdoor recreation and travel.
Arinola F. Dada, MD.
Dr. Dada was born in Cincinnati Ohio, grew up in Lagos, Nigeria where she received
her undergraduate degree and MD degree at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She
returned to the United States and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mercy
Hospital of Pittsburgh, soon followed by a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University
of Washington in Seattle. During her residency and fellowship Dr. Dada had publications
on autoimmune diseases which are presented at the American College of Rheumatology
annual meetings.
Dr. Dada is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology as well as the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. She is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American College of Rheumatology, King County Medical Society, Arthritis Foundation and many others. She has been honored in Arthritis Today as one of the "top docs" in the nation through the Arthritis Foundation My Doc Rocs program. She is also affiliated with the University of Washington as a clinical instructor in Rheumatology.
Dr. Dada enjoys skiing, skating, cooking, entertaining, travel and spending time with her 2 young children.
